Creating through Freehand Machine Embroidery

with Emma Corry

Sunday 8th October 2017 - 10.00am - 4.00pm

Price: £75

Have you ever wanted to have a go at 'drawing' with your sewing machine?  This workshop can show you how...

During this workshop, Emma will be guiding you on how to using freehand machine embroidery.  First you'll be making a simple envelope-style cushion cover, which will then be your canvas for using the wonderfully versatile technique of embroidering freehand with your machine.

Emma can provide all the threads, fabrics and feather cushion pads; all you need to bring is your sewing machine and a (very sharp) pair of scissors.

This workshop does run over lunchtime and lunch is not provided at the studio, so its a good idea to bring a packed lunch (there are also shops locally if you prefer to pop out).

All other refreshments are provided at the studio.
