An Introduction to Jewellery-Making: Silver Stacking Rings with Machi De Waard

10.30am - 4.30pm

Come to the studio, escape to a creative haven and learn how to make your very own Silver Stacking rings! No experience or artistic skills are necessary - these classes are for absolute beginners and improvers alike.  This is such a therapeutic, satisfying way to spend a day and the silver rings you've made at the end are just the icing on the cake!

The workshop provides all the materials, a range of hand tools, access to equipment and tuition from one of the most succesful and accomplished Jewellery makers in the area. You will be introduced to the tools and given full instruction on their use. Bring an apron if you wish, but everything else will be provided, including the silver for your projects! 

You will learn: How to saw, form, solder, texture, file, sand and polish the silver itself.

You will make:  three beautiful silver rings, designed to be worn as a set or separately (completely up to you!) - by the end of the day you could be wearing your 3 finished rings, hand-made by YOU! 

Please wear closed shoes (no sandals), tie long hair back and do not wear dangly jewellery. 

Age 17+ (no exceptions) 

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

When: Sat 4th December 2021, 10.30am start (UK time)

Duration: 6 hours (including lunch break)

COVID PRECAUTIONS: We ask that you please  wash/sanitise your hands regularly - the wearing of masks is not required, but it is preferred. The studio space is vigorously cleaned before & after all sessions during this time.

IF YOU HAVE TO MISS A SESSION

Due to an extremely small admin team, the time it takes up and the financial difficulty it causes the HSA, we are unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for orders made in error, changed plans or a changed mind. Please bear this in mind BEFORE placing an order, please don't ask us to make an exception (you'd be surprised how many times this happens).

We are unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for forgotten/missed sessions which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

In the extremely rare case where a refund is issued there will be a service charge taken for our time and the payment/booking charges we have incurred.

If it's our fault:

If you're unable to attend the session through a mishap/error on our part, we will make sure you are provided with a voucher to attend any forthcoming sessions of the same type - alternatively we will issue a refund or find another solution.

The income from all our sessions is used to pay for our brilliant tutors, models & photographers, the rent on our studio, overheads and of course to pay the salaries of the hard working folk behind the scenes.
