Learn to Draw the basics using different materials, with Nicky Savage
Saturday 25th January 2020 - 10am - 4pm
Drawing is a beautiful way to explore our world. It can allow us to really see and feel the visual world around us.
This workshop will look at drawing from both an analytical/observational viewpoint and as a means of self-expression. We will play with a variety of methods of drawing with the aim of allowing you to gain more confidence in the use of line and the visual manipulation of space through drawing.
We will be making work with a variety of drawing materials such as graphite, charcoal, ink, oil pastels, chalks etc. When you feel more confident with your drawing skills, you can then use that confidence to facilitate a deeper and more varied visual conversation with the world as an artist.
Suitable for all abilities.
