Drink & Draw at Zizzi’s - Unguided Life Drawing (June)

Monthly Unguided Life Drawing sessions in Henley-on-Thames

These GLORIOUS, fun & friendly sessions run on the 3rd Thursday of every month (there are bound to be some anomalies throughout the year, but I'll do my best to stick to that pattern).  Our venue, Zizzi's, is as I'm sure many of you may know, a great place to grab some inexpensive, tasty, Italian food and our Zizzi's branch in Henley has the most lovely, large and atmospheric room upstairs for events, which is just PERFECT for us. So come along, get out your drawing equipment and settle in for another great drawing session (with the added bonus of pizza and a glass of your favourite tipple available if you fancy it!).

7pm - 9.15pm - you can of course come earlier to grab a meal/drink before the session starts, I'll be setting up and no doubt eating pizza so you'd be welcome to join me!

All sessions will feature a professional live model, most often we draw our model nude, please bear this in mind should you be considering buying a spot for a younger person - our age limit is 16+.

I won't be able to provide easels sadly, but there is space for portable easels if you have your own, there are chairs and the odd table etc.  I recommend you bring your own drawing boards or hardbacked sketchbooks so that you can lean them on a chair in front of you (you will have the option of having 2 chairs to yourself - one to sit in and one to lean on).

I may have materials you can use but it's not guaranteed I'm afraid. I used to bring materials, boards and extra paper for people but it was a lot to carry, large piles of paper are VERY heavy and there's very limited parking directly outside the venue. I found that out of 16 participants only one or two each week were actually using any of it, so I made the decision to let people bring what they needed for themselves.

£20 per person, I have to limit the spaces to ensure there is enough room for everyone and to avoid feeling squashed or unable to see our model!  It does mean that I will need to ask you to pay for the session in advance so I can ascertain numbers and keep it capped - so please do sign up to avoid disappointment!  

There can be no paying on the evening I'm afraid, all tickets must be bought in advance please.

As always, I'm afraid that places are non-refundable and non-transferable except for extreme circumstances

Due to an extremely small admin team of 1, the time it takes up and the financial difficulty it causes, I am unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for orders made in error, changed plans or a changed mind. Please bear this in mind BEFORE placing an order.

I am unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for forgotten/missed sessions which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

In the extremely rare case where a refund is issued there will have to be a service charge taken for my time and the payment/booking charges I will have incurred.

If it's my fault:

If you're unable to attend the session through a mishap/error on my part, I will make sure you are provided with a voucher to attend any forthcoming sessions of the same type - alternatively I will issue a refund or find another solution.

The income from all my sessions is used to pay for my time, energy and experience, as well as the cost of renting the space and payment for our model - thank you so much for understanding.
