About the Event

One day Life Drawing Workshop with Jo Harris - Beginners & Intermediate Level

Sunday 6th February

10.30am - 4.30pm

This fantastic workshop is designed to be a fun way to get into or even back into the practice of drawing from life - one of the absolute cornerstones of all artistic practice.  You'll be off and drawing from the word go - there'll be inspiring exercises, techniques and methods in an environment of fun and in classes designed to really bring out the best drawings in you. We'll be looking at all the fundamentals - proportion, hands, feet and faces, foreshortening - we'll be experimenting with different materials, colour and so much more!  AND you'll be going home with a materials pack to carry on practising at home!

All levels are most welcome.

Jo will have one of her team of dynamic male & female models at the ready, as well as inspiring music, refreshments and her knowledge as a tutor, with over 20 years of Life Drawing experience. These classes will never have more than 10 students per group in order to keep the class intimate and lively.

There's no need to bring anything - all materials are provided

Age 17+ (no exceptions)

Places are non-refundable and non-transferable.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: We ask that you please  wash/sanitise your hands regularly throughout the sessions - the wearing of masks is now required. The studio space is vigorously cleaned before & after all sessions during this time.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do get in touch with us:

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you please don't risk the health of others, please refrain from coming to the studio (no matter HOW much you want to draw).

We hate being this strict - but we'd hate anyone to come to any harm!

Due to an extremely small admin team, the time it takes up and the financial difficulty it causes the HSA, we are unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for orders made in error, changed plans or a changed mind. Please bear this in mind BEFORE placing an order, please don't ask us to make an exception (you'd be surprised how many times this happens).

We are unable to offer refunds / transfers to another session / gift vouchers for forgotten/missed sessions which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

In the extremely rare case where a refund is issued there will be a service charge taken for our time and the payment/booking charges we have incurred.

If it's our fault:

If you're unable to attend the session through a mishap/error on our part, we will make sure you are provided with a voucher to attend any forthcoming sessions of the same type - alternatively we will issue a refund or find another solution.

The income from all our sessions is used to pay for our brilliant tutors, models & photographers, the rent on our studio, overheads and of course to pay the salaries of the hard working folk behind the scenes.
