Since graduating from Central Saint Martins, I have spent most of my working life encouraging students of all ages and abilities to connect with their creativity through the Visual Arts and strike the balance between intellectual curiosity and intuitive play.
I believe creativity; in its many forms can nurture us, on so many levels, and through the creation of art, we learn how to deeply connect to ourselves and to the world around us.
Over the last 30 years I have taught a wide range of visual disciplines from observational life drawing to very pure abstraction. I trained as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator and now make my own mixed media work in relation to my continual ‘conversation with the natural world’. I really enjoy helping people to understand and analyse their work, to reach their potential and to immerse themselves in their own creative processes.
When we embrace the inherent creativity within ourselves, we allow ourselves to grow and to flourish in so many extraordinary ways.
I really look forward to sharing my knowledge, working with you and encouraging you to explore, play and create!
