A Boat Full of Wool

Sophie is a Knitting and Crochet enthusiast that lives onboard a narrowboat upon the Kennet and Avon Canal - she set up A Boat Full of Wool in 2017 on her mission to get as many people inspired to learn to crochet and knit as she could. In fact Sophie's whole idea is to get more people involved in the Arts and Crafts movement in general and, as well as the Workshops she runs, she also teaches at West Berkshire Primary Schools weekly and is the Crochet Tutor at Basingstoke College of Technology.
Sophie regularly holds Workshops in on-trend Crochet, Arm knitting, Knitting as well as her Children's Workshops and Natural Botanical Dyeing workshops. As if that wasn't enough, she's often to be found coming up with fun workshop ideas for Birthday parties, Hen parties and Private events.
Learning to knit at the age of 7, Sophie was quickly hooked and followed her dreams to teach her passion for Crafts.
A Boat Full Of Wool has been featured in Simply Crochet Magazine, BBC Radio Berkshire, Land love Magazine, Waterways World Magazine, Inside Crochet Magazine, Real homes Magazine and Wedding ideas Magazine
